Where work and life belong together.
This is simply where our family has chosen to make cheese, build coffee machines, and open a small cottage beneath the mountains. After years in business and a season sailing with our daughters, we realised we wanted work and life to belong in the same place.
We’re trying to build things properly — and to live the same way.
We live within our means. We grow carefully. And we’re still learning what it means to build a life that leaves room for what matters most.
If you’re looking for something a little quieter, a little more grounded, you’re welcome here.
We are a family who chose to bring work and life back together.
After nearly two decades in corporate leadership, and three years sailing the Mediterranean with our daughters, we began asking different questions about success. We wanted work our children could see and understand. We wanted craft we could stand behind and we wanted time to reflect, not just to produce.
Silver Lily Farm is the result of that decision.
Today, three generations live and work here. Mel makes cheese in small batches because she loves the process. Hardy builds espresso machines the way an engineer should — to last. The cottage welcomes guests into the same rhythm we are learning to live ourselves.
We live within our means. We grow carefully and build carefully, so we can live deliberately.
